Embark on a breathtaking 4-day trekking journey through the pristine meadows of Dayara Bugyal, one of the most beautiful high-altitude grasslands in India. Begin your adventure at Raithal Village, walk through enchanting forests, camp under starlit skies, and summit Bakaria Top (3810 m) for panoramic views of the majestic Himalayas. Perfect for nature lovers, beginners, and seasoned trekkers, this trail is a gem in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.
Arrive in Uttarkashi by noon, take a local/shared taxi to Raithal Village (43 km). Meet your trek guide and get a trek briefing. Explore the village and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Stay: Camps/Hotel in Raithal Note: Transportation to Raithal not included.
Start trek from Raithal to Upper Raithal (1 km), then gradually ascend through forests and open meadows. Cross Ghuyin – a scenic shepherd hamlet, and proceed to Dayara Bugyal (one of the largest alpine meadows). Camp near the meadow or a water source. Trek Distance: 8 km Stay: Campsite near Dayara Bugyal Highlights: Mt. Srikanth, Mt. Jaunli, and Draupadi ka Danda views.
Wake up early for a surreal sunrise over the Bugyal. Begin the summit trek to Bakaria Top (3810 m) with stunning Himalayan views. Descend and camp near Barnala Tal, a serene high-altitude lake. Trek Distance: 9 km Stay: Campsite near Barnala Tal Altitude: 3810 m
Trek back to Barsu Village (5 km) via picturesque landscapes. Drive to Uttarkashi (transport not included). Trek ends here with beautiful memories. Trek Distance: 5 km End Point: Barsu Village
